Care Guide

All of our dice are made of Epoxy Resin.

Resin is a durable, long lasting material - when it is cast correctly and treated well afterward!

BE AWARE OF HEAT
Resin does not extreme temperatures, heat in particular.

High temps can cause resin to soften and potentially warp.

Do not leave your dice in your hot car! If you do accidentally leave them in the car, let them sit in a room temperature setting for at least an hour before you handle them.

Same goes for when you order dice in the summer months. Those dice are traveling on a hot mail truck for who knows how many hours! Let them rest and come to a normal temp before using.

DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE REFRIGERATOR OR FREEZER.
They don't like extreme cold, either!

The overall quality of your dice will be extended if you handle them gently.

Rolling on a softer surface is ideal, though not necessary. Just be aware that though resin is pretty tough, it isn't always diamond tough - it can be scratched if enough pressure is applied. The more you throw your dice across the room or drop them on the hot pavement, the more likely they are going to have scratched and possible nicks or chips.

We do not recommend our dice for small children!
Those pointy corners and sharp edges don't mix well with toddlers.
It turns out eyes are easy to poke. Who knew?

Lens cloths or microfiber cloths are good to keep around for cleaning dice off when things get smudgy! They can usually handle a quick rinse in the sink, but keep in mind that our numbers are usually inked with acrylic or enamel paints. These are not permanent, they can be removed! Sometimes, people like that. They can repaint them whatever color they want! But if you enjoy your ink as is, we don't recommend soaking your dice. It will probably come off.

Most resin has a tendency to yellow with time, some more than others. Our current resin is pretty yellow-resistant (we went through numerous test phases for this!), but we are sure that even this resin will eventually have some tint to it. Prolonged exposure to UV/Sunlight will enhance the progression of this.
